About Syarikat Kopi Kok

From first-hand café experience to long-term wholesale coffee partnerships built around consistency, reliability and practical support.

Who We Are

A Wholesale Coffee Partner with First-Hand Operating Experience.

Syarikat Kopi Kok (SKK) is a Malaysian wholesale coffee supplier serving cafés, restaurants, hospitality businesses and workplace operations.

Coffee remains at the centre of what we do. Our experience as café operators has shaped how we approach consistency, reliability and the practical realities of day-to-day coffee service.

For our wholesale coffee partners, this relationship can extend beyond supply through relevant Partner Support such as programme setup, equipment and workflow guidance, barista training, QC and machine support where applicable.

Our aim is simple: to help the coffee we supply continue performing reliably as our partners operate and grow.

Syarikat Kopi Kok's Journey

Built Through Experience, Refined Through Operations.

Our journey has been shaped by first-hand café experience, the challenges of building a coffee business, and
a continuous effort to improve how we supply and support our wholesale partners.

2014
From Coffee Passion to Operational Reality

Our experience started as café operators.

Running the business gave us first-hand exposure to the realities behind coffee service — from consistency and staff capability to equipment, workflow and supplier reliability.

These experiences would later shape the philosophy behind Syarikat Kopi Kok.

2018
Roastery Launch

After exiting a café licensing arrangement, we set out to gain greater control over the consistency and reliability of our coffee supply.

We invested in our own roasting capability, creating the foundation for what would later develop into our wholesale coffee operation.

Building a Halal-Ready Foundation

At the same time, our production facility was purpose-built with Halal requirements in mind, addressing the quality, hygiene and compliance expectations of the Malaysian market.

Although SKK was still establishing its presence, this early commitment created an important foundation for the standards we continue to uphold today.

2020
The Family-Run Brand

Drawing from our experience as café operators, Syarikat Kopi Kok was developed around the kind of supplier relationship we believed coffee businesses needed.

The challenges of the COVID-19 period reinforced the importance of reliability, fairness and genuine partnership — particularly when operators need support most.

Those principles became central to how we wanted SKK to work with its customers.

2021
Early Growth

Like many growing businesses, 2021 brought challenges in customer acquisition and manpower, requiring us to respond with practical and agile solutions.

At the same time, our coffee portfolio continued to develop.

Building on the introduction of Merbau and our Robusta blends in 2020, we expanded into Nespresso-compatible capsules and introduced Nyatoh, marking another important step in developing a more complete coffee offering for our customers.

2022
Refining Consistency & Quality

Our focus increasingly shifted towards making coffee performance more repeatable.

We tested our blends across different equipment setups, refined our roasting processes and strengthened the way we approached consistency in real service environments.

We also invested in a destoner, adding another layer of quality control to the production process and helping ensure that each batch met the standards we were working towards.

2023
Milestones & Industry Recognition

2023 marked a significant stage in SKK’s development.

We transitioned to sourcing specialty-grade Arabica, reinforcing our commitment to improving coffee quality.

Our work also gained greater industry visibility through a feature by Eat Drink KL and our first bar takeover at the International Café & Beverage Show (ICBS).

During the same period, we began curating a more focused network of approved vendors. This allowed us to strengthen the wider operational support available to our customers while keeping coffee at the centre of the SKK relationship.

2025
Taking SKK Further Into the Coffee Community

SKK’s participation at the International Café & Beverage Show (ICBS) 2025 strengthened our presence within Malaysia’s coffee and hospitality industry and gave us a platform to connect with café owners, F&B operators, industry professionals and potential partners.

The event helped us build new relationships, exchange industry insights and expand the network supporting SKK’s continued growth.

2026
From Coffee Supply to a Stronger Wholesale Partnership

As SKK continued to evolve, our direction became clearer: coffee remains the foundation of the business.

Our focus today is on building long-term wholesale coffee supply partnerships, supported by the practical systems required to help that coffee perform consistently in real operations.

Alongside our coffee range, SKK has strengthened its supporting capabilities across:

  • Coffee machines and grinders
  • Equipment and workflow planning
  • Coffee programme setup
  • Barista training and quality control
  • Coffee machine servicing
  • Modular coffee systems
  • Complementary beverage products

These capabilities are designed to support the coffee partnership — helping our clients improve consistency, manage their operations more effectively and build stronger foundations for growth.
